La vie d'Adèle" or "Blue Is the Warmest Color" manages something that most films do not manage. It runs for roughly 3 hours, but there is hardly any moment when you feel that the film begins to drag. I cannot think of a single scene I would cut. The Cannes jury probably felt the same and thus awarded the two protagonists.
